HOMEWORK #6 - Chiaroscuro Sphere

Now that we've started value drawings (drawings with highlights, shadows, and midtones), let's practice making smooth gradations of values. If you apply subtle gradations of value to a flat circle, the circle looks like a sphere - it creates the illusion of three-dimensional mass. This subtle gradation of values is called "chiaroscuro." In your sketchbook, in pencil, draw the chiaroscuro sphere and value chart shown below. Draw everything you see, including the horizon line and cast shadow.
